What we collect

Email address, display name, and profile picture
Fitness data you log: workouts (cardio, weights, sessions), duration, calories, notes
Body weight logs (strictly private — only you can ever see them)
Referral source (how you heard about GRIT)
Payment information (processed by Stripe — we never store your card details)
Contact form submissions if you reach out to us

How we use it

To operate GRIT and give you access to the community
To show your public posts and workouts to other members (only if you mark them public)
To display your profile and stats to other members
To send you transactional emails (welcome, account, payment confirmations)
To improve GRIT and understand how members use it
To respond to contact form submissions

What we never do

We never sell your data
We never share body weight logs with anyone, including admins
We never post workouts you marked private
We never advertise to you or share your data with advertisers

Your control

You can delete your account at any time from Settings
Deleting your account permanently removes your workouts, posts, weight logs, and profile
You can toggle any workout or post between public and private
Body weight is always private, by design

Data security

Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text
All data is transmitted over HTTPS
Access to admin data is restricted to authorized administrators
